Western Oklahoma State College Continuing ED Refund Policy and Procedures

Refund Policy: Continuing ED refunds will be issued, if:

  • The class is cancelled, either by the College or Instructor, a full refund will be issued.
  • A student decides not to take the class and the Refund Request Form is filled out and received before the first day of class, a Refund will be issued less a $10 processing fee.
  • Other situations occur, as approved by the Director of Academic Support or Vice President for Academic Affairs.
  • As an alternative, funds may be used to pay the tuition of another Continuing ED class of the individual’s choosing.


Refund Procedure: In order to receive a refund, an individual must do the following:

  • Print, fill out and sign the Refund Request Form (fillable PDF).
  • Turn the Refund Form & receipt or proof of payment into the Office of Academic Support.
    All refunds must be approved.
  • Once approved, processing takes approximately 10 business days.
  • Refunds will then be mailed to the address listed on the Refund Request Form unless specified for pickup.
